The Chancellor of UniKL, His Royal Highness Crown Prince of Pahang, Tuanku Abdullah Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah in his royal address to the graduating students reminded them of their responsibility in always upholding the image of the institution and the country.

He says "A positive image is a critical factor which can contribute to the country's stable economy. Lately however, it is sad to note that there are a few incidents in the country that has undermine our positive image as a nation where people of all races, religions and backgrounds are able to live in peace and harmony with one another.

These untoward incidents requires us to take a step back and mull over our actions. We have to go back to the basics of respecting and being sensitive towards each other's culture, values and religious beliefs, a foundation on which our forefathers built this country upon. Today I call upon all graduates to face this issue and act on the challenges that we are facing. We must be thankful for and uphold the freedom and peace that our forefathers fought for with their lives. We have to move forward together, and do not let the ailment caused by division among us, which once troubled the previous generation, plague us again."

Meanwhile, Prof. Dato' Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su'ud, President and Chief Executive Officer of UniKL in his address to the graduating students reminded them of never forgetting their roots, no matter how high they soar, "What will you do with the knowledge that you have gained whilst at UniKL? How will you contribute towards the nation? The scroll you are holding today is just a piece paper, but a powerful one that can be the key to unlock many opportunities later in life. Use all the knowledge that you have gained wisely, and use them for the benefit of humanity. Use them to chase your dreams in the field of your interest, but always remember where it all began. No matter how high you ascend, no matter how tall you stand, do not forget us here. Look back once in a while, to the corridors of knowledge where you once occupied."

Besides the tradition filled ceremony, graduating students also enjoyed top-class entertainment with performances by Faizal Tahir, Black of Mentor, Adira of AF and few other notable stars during the 4-day ceremony.
