KUALA LUMPUR, 15 January 2016 – Children of UniKL staff who passed with flying colours in 2015 UPSR and PT3 examinations were celebrated  in an Appreciation Ceremony held in City Campus today. Gracing the occasion was UniKL Deputy President (Student Development and Campus Lifestyle), YBhg. Prof. Dr. Khairanum Subari. Also present at the ceremony were Encik Shamsul Kamal Ab Samad, General Manager, Group People Management and Team Culture (GPMTC), the celebrated children along with their parents.

The recognition given is part of UniKL's initiatives in enhancing its staff welfare and benefit by GPMTC. Each child received cash token and an exclusive school bag and stationery sets from UniKL. This year, a total of 48 children of staff from UniKL City Campus, UniKL BMI, UniKL MSI, UniKL MIMET, UniKL MFI, UniKL MESTECH, UniKL MIAT, UniKL IPROM, UniKL MICET, UniKL MIIT, UniKL MITEC and UniKL RCMP received the award.

In her address, Prof. Dr. Khairanum Subari says, "I want to congratulate both parents and children for their excellent achievement. It is not something easy for working parents nowadays to ensure excellence in our children especially when both parents are working, leaving little time to spend with our children. However, not easy does not mean impossible, as those of you present today have proven it otherwise."

"To the high achievers, I hope excellence will always be a part of you, and you will continue to strive despite the obstacles that may come your way. You are all junior ambassadors of UniKL, and I wish that one day when the time comes, all of you will choose UniKL as the preferred university for you to pursue your higher education and you shall continue to be the icons of excellence in UniKL," she continued.

Congratulations to all the high achievers!
